I put on an awesome demo at Mini Maker Faire Chicago Northside, spreading the word about MakerBot and the potential of 3D printing. With me was Chicago based artist Patrick Lichty.
Our setup comprised of Patrick's and my Thing-o-Matic, two Kinects for scanning, a TV connected to my computer so people could see the modeling process, and an assortment of promo swag.
I scanned attendees and printed them out. They were able to take their models home with them as part of the experience. The process I used and sources are outlined in on our event card (click the second image).

Instructions
I scaled the models down to .1, scliced using my custom skeinforge profile (ask if you want it), .27mm height, 100mm/s, Jetty's acceleration (3.2z rev336m) with Dan Newman's .altshell skeinforge plugin, and I am using a MK8 nozzle on my MK7 extruder. This allowed for very fast printing with great quality/results.

There's something very unusual about finding your own head uploaded to Thingiverse...
Thanks again for the scan, it looks great!
