3DR Quadcopter moon shoes
Description
Padded landing feet for 3DR quadcopter frame
Instructions
Cut a short piece of 50mm OD pipe insulation tube and hot-glue to base of feet for padded landing feet, aka moon shoes.
--UPDATE--
I've found the original feet had some problems.
1) Screw hole was too low. You could get the screw in through the leg, but it went in at a slight angle. This was nice because it made for a nice tight fit, but it also put some pressure on the plastic that would cause failure.
This screw hole has been moved up a bit. The area surrounding the screw hole has also been 'embiggened' to add a little more meat.
2) The base was too thin and could crack on hard landings or crashes. The base has been thickened.
If you want these fixes download the robusto_2 .stl or .scad.
