Description
This is a three bladed boomerang.
Instructions
Make 3 blades and 2 hubs. Place the blades together flat side down as shown in the assembly picture. Glue one hub piece to the top of the center to join the blades. When dry flip and glue hub to center of bottom side. The MakerBot had no trouble printing the 11.5 cm tall blade.
Fly using a spinning motion with the round edge moving in the direction thrown.
p.s. I reduced the weight a little bit by printing only one outer layer in skeinforge. "Extra Shells on Sparse Layer (layers): 0"
WARNING: Throw only on grass. The plastic is brittle and prone to break if thrown on hard surfaces.
