Description
Laser cut Y axis frame for MendelMax. Modified from thingiverse.com/thing:21638. I changed the slot width to 6mm and changed the floating rod holes from a 10mm circle to 8mm slot. This lets the rod float only in the X axis. I recommend using only one bushing on the floating rod.

Wait, the floating rod was a 10mm circle? Hmm.. Gonna have to look into that, it should have been 8.2mm
Either way, there is no reason for the shaft to move in the Z direction. A slot is better because it is flat on the bottom. A circle will cause the shaft to move up whenever it moves in the X direction. That is undesirable.
