Description

This is my derivative of daewootech's "DIY Glasses", by far the best looking shutter sunglasses on Thingiverse. Unfortunately a .cdr file does nothing for me as I wanted to print these bad boys. I ended up rebuilding them in solidworks with the jpg as a template. I added hinges, changed the shutter ratio, redesigned the arms a bit and put in a little extra detail for those who like it gangsta.. Printed exceptionally in ABS on the Ultimaker. Enjoy!

Instructions

1. Print frames of your choice (with teardrop or without)
2. Print Arms
3. Assemble frames to arms using screws, wire or a paper clip.

I found that a single strand from cat6 worked well.

printed on TOM scaled .826 and barely fit the platform and me! :)

Ha.. Maybe I'll cut the frames in half and devise a press fit for the TOM ops out there. ;)

Awesome stuff! May we please have the arms as separate STLs?

Ok.. Added arms as separate L and R STLs. Enjoy! :-D
