Hugo
Description
This is Hugo. Named after Hugo de Vries who introduced the term "mutation".
First of I would like to thank Joachim (jsturm) who started this project in the first place and did almost the entire testing of the parts. The entire design is done in OpenSCAD and all files are hosted on github.com/kr2/Hugo.
At the moment we have two running Hugo Printers.
The red one is an Hugo_standard, which was built by JStrum. Printed mostly in PLA on an old Mendel. He made it on purpose as small as possible to fit on his desk (so it has not the metrics one finds in the corresponding config file).
The black one is an Hugo+, build by me (KR2) and printed on an Prusa in ABS.
The Design is a derivative of the original Printrbot by abdrumm, but all parts are redesigned and improved.

Instructions
First of two things:
It is always recommend to check the .stl files before printing. If you have problems slicing the stl files with Slic3r try fixing them with cloud.netfabb.com/ (for Skeinforge the files should work out of the box).
If you find bugs plz add them here: github.com/kr2/Hugo/issues

+--------------------------------------+
So at the moment there are three OpenSCAD configuration files for Hugo_improved, pb_standard, Hugo_standard and Hugo+. You find the corresponding .stl files in the zip archives.
Beneath is a short description of the variations, for a bit more detail check out github.com/kr2/Hugo/blob/release/src/config.scad and github.com/kr2/Hugo/tree/release/src/config.
Hugo_improved [recommend] is set up for HTD 3M belts on 3M 12 teeth Pulleys (3M/12) and it also has an increased x axis distance compared to the pb_standard (25.38 mm vs 32 mm).
The Hugo_standard is the same as the pb_standard (see below) only that it is set up for T2.5 Belts and corresponding Pulleys with 20 Teeth (T2.5/20).
The Hugo+ (HugoPlus) has some major changes. It is designed for T2.5 belt and 12 teeth Pulleys (T2.5/12) and Z Axis with an diameter of 12 mm. The distance of the X-Axis is also increased and the default settings are set for an Printvoulme of 300x300x300 mm.
The pb_standard has almost everywhere the same dimensions as the Printrbot so, it is not recommend, but one should be able to combine parts from the printrbot and the Hugo(pb_standard). The pb_standard parts alone should fit together but since the original printrbot parts partly doesn't fit together in an sound way plz don't expect that hugo replacement parts for an existing Printrbot fix that problem. But since at the beginning of all Hugo source files there is an section where you can set the dimensions of the part, so you can try to go there and enter your needed dimensions.

Can you update the BOM with all the electronics stuff? That would be nice.

The Hugo+ 1.2.zip seems to be broken please could you reload this as I am thinking of building a Hugo+ next after my Prusa and before a Mendel90 and Wallace!
Many thanks

Looks like my printrbot/wallace mashup is going to gain a few hugo parts.
The dual fan shroud is genius. I hope to connect the exhaust side to a flexible hose and vent the ABS fumes out of my workspace.

I was wondering what kind of LM12 bearings you are using for the X ends. looking at the STL they is approximately a 20mm hole for them but the only LM12 bearings i seem to find are all 22mm. Thanks for any info!
But you can also go with another modle like the Hugo_improved which only uses LM8UU but be aware it is desingt for HTD belts.
I don't use LM12 bearings for the Hugo+. I used printed ones, as you find in the zip or here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thi...
