Description
This is a modular chair you can make from cardboard sheets, wood sheets, acrylic sheets, etc. You need a Shopbot or a laser-cutter to make it.
The original file was made for tall people. No negative discrimination here. I just needed a higher chair.
Thanks !
Romain

Instructions
Hi. You can make this chair from any solid material : corrugated cardboard, plywood, acrylic, etc. This chair is made of vertical layers stuck or screwed together. The thicker the material is, the less layers you will have to assemble.
1 - You must have a Shopbot or a Laser-cutter. You need to find a fablab or a tech shop.
1 - 1 - If you have a shopbot, you can use the file named < fab_academy_chaise_complete.ai >. You will have to convert it into the correct format.
1 - 2 - If you only have a laser-cutter, You can use the other files. This are separated parts made to be cut on a 24x12 inches laser-cutter bed.
I will make some tests on a Shopbot in june 2012. So I'll keep working on it to make it better.
Thanks !
