Summary

This cover is intended to protect cRIO modules for the FIRST Robotics competition. It sits comfortably on top of the C-RIO itself and allows room for all wires and cabling to be connected to modules through the top of this cover. The cRIO Cover allows for neat organization of wiring and has the ability for zip ties to secure all wiring in a bundle to the side of the Cover. There is a concern in the 2014 game that parts may not be durable enough to survive ball impacts; cRIO Cover has a tight fit around the cRIO its's self. Protect your robots from hard hits. Perfectly legal in competitions for inspections before tournaments.

Instructions

Team Titanium was in need of a way to protect its C-RIO with valuable modules inside while at the same time a way to organize the wiring that plugs in to the modules. I found the C-RIO online and designed a cover that sits 3.7 inches from the top of the C-RIO with and without modules inside.

I sent you the cad file earlier this year. I might consider adding larger slots on the front and back sides along with 2 zip tie wholes under those specific slots.

How about one that fits for a 8 slot cRIO?
