Description

Folding propeller to small electric glider

Instructions

Print the "fork" and 2 similar blades.
Blades has quite a lot overhang, it could cause problems.
You can use small bolt and nuts (maybe washer) to join them.
I used 3mm filament and glued it to fork with ABS glue (acetone+ABS).
I tested with small geared motor, and least it made some wind ;-)
Haven't tested it with plane, I'll try it with small (120cm) Graupner Discus
soon.

Print them flat, maybe 3-4 layers thick, and while they're still hot pull them off of the build platform, bend them into the correct position, and hold them there until they cool.

If it has a powered propeller, technically it's not a glider.

He's using the words as R/C hobbyists use them. e.g.: plenty of electric models here:
