b2x X-Carriage Bed Fan Mount
Description
One of the images shows the right-side of the bed fan. You can see that the mirrored x-carriage can hold two fans, one for the bed and one for the hot-end.
The scad file is attached. Feel free to change and reuse however you want. I'm thinking at some point I may modify it with some mounts for LEDs to make viewing the printing part easier.

Have been printing this and using it as well to understand how to use OpenScad. Is there any chance you could also include the scad for the donut itself. The available files do not seem to include that at this time. Would like to play with it and do some 'reinforcement' of the transition between the connection and the donut itself.
Thanks
hdokes, the code for generating all the parts, including the donut is in the attached "x-carriage-bed-fan.scad" file. The donut modules are at the very end. Generation/printing of the various pieces is controlled by the "print_what" and "show_..." variables at the beginning of the file. Hope this helps, let me know if you have more questions.
in your photo there seems to be a fan duct on the carriage fan between this duct and the carriage, could you link me to that duct?
Looks great, the donut was tough to print on my mendel with .7mm nozzle, think I can rig it. A fan duct would have helped tremendously... Anyhow, care to share the SCAD? Would love to use on my mendel. Suppose I can make a mounting adapter in the mean time...
Is this for a Prusa or Sells Mendel? Can I post a picture of it in use?

does it work with budaschnozzle?
I've never tried it with a budaschnozzle. When hanging from greg's x-carriage, or the "mirrored" x-carriage I made from his, it comes to about 5mm from the jhead hotend I use.
