Awesome project! Worked well on my XYZprinting AiO. Just required a little clean up in the unsupported "firing chamber".

i don't know how you guys are printing this but for me not good

I found it to be a very easy print (RepRapPro's Ormerod)
printed on the side (X-axis rotation 90 deg.), no support, layer hight 0.20, 40mm/sec, 25% infill, 2 perimeters, 4 top solid layers, heated bed, no extra cooling

..and many thanks goes to Cadplast for this beautiful model!

did you scale this at all?

Brilliant! A really great version of the original design. I've made it my Thing of the Week on my blog, http://3DGeni.us3DGeni.us:

Excellent work!

Thanks :) always fun with positive comments. Ive read the article and will share your website further. Unfortunately i dont have much time to develop it more for now. Need to get my hexacopter ready for this spring and summer :D

Hope you don't mind, but I love this design and I made a video on it :)

Thanks :D I feel honored, it made my day so much better. Never thought the pistol would become so popular. I am working on a new version that can shoot airsoft bb pellets and matches without jamming issues :)

Awesome! :D. Will follow you so that I can be one of the first to print the new version. Thanks!

New version is out :) turned out great.
Read the description and the instructions.
It features some small parts and even more overhang so i hope you can print it well.
My makerbot rep 2X managed it though.

I will give it a go ASAP. I'm hoping with the cooler weather we have finally received that my prusa will handle the overhangs fine.

How did it go? I am working on the last update on this pistol thing now. It features a magazine that can hold airsoft pellets and the gun also reloads from the back with a lever thing, almost like an old single action revolver.

I haven't had the chance to test it yet, hope to this week! Those updates sound awesome! Can't wait!
