Description

This is a small bronze sculpture from The Walters that is intended to be held in your hand. It was scanned with high resolution laser line scanner by Direct Dimensions in early 2011 for an exhibit. The piece was reproduced using 3D printing for evaluation by Johns Hopkins researchers.

The STL is a great sculpture! Very nice work scanning the sculpture!
However, Like Brucethehoon mentioned - the picture is of a different sculpture.

If you have it and you can - could you possibly please post the model from the picture?
I have a couple wooden sculptures that are of similar taste to the one in the pic.

I would really appreciate it if you could post that one!

Thanking you greatly!

I've successfully printed the STL, but do note that the image is of a different statue.

This looks beautiful. Has anyone tried to print it? It doesn't look possible without support. I'll give it a shot tomorrow.

Very Nice! Sharing content like this helps. Art history teachers will print this for many years. To be able to hand this around in class, makes class work meaningful.

so glad you finally made an account!
