Hey! This thing is still a Work in Progress. Files, instructions, and other stuff might change!

Mini Quick-Fit Huxley sized extruder #30DoC

Description

For Day 4 of 30 days of creativity ( #30DoC ) here is a miniature sized Huxley extruder, designed for my Quick-Fit X carriage.

Ideal if you need a small and lightweight 1.75mm extruder for your 3D printer.

Instructions

Comes with an in-built mount for a 30mm fan to keep your thermal block nice and cool.

It's designed to be used with the Huxley Herringbone gear set I did for Day 2. thingiverse.com/thing:24071

I also re-made a new Idler block with a bit more strength to it than the original.

It seems to work just fine, but I'm going to say it's a work in progress until I have done some more printing with it.

Made for Day 4 of 30 days of creativity ( #30DoC ) 30daysofcreativity.com/

I found the sizes to be too small, so I had to scale to 120%

Hi Rich,

Looks awesome.

I am a bit confused though. The eMaker Huxley has a Vertical Bar X-Axis.

How can we fit the quick fit X-Axis onto a vertical x-axis bar?

Are you using a different style x-axis?

I think it is just a Huxley SIZED extruder. ;)
