Cubetile - Fractal Art by @Dizingof (with a support file for Dual extruders! )
Description
Cubetile Fractal.
Size: 100x100x150mm
Wall thickness: 3~5mm
As with my previous upload - for the overhangs issue, i've decided to upload a second STL file with support structures - this STL is to be used with Dual extruders 3D printers with a Soluble Filament by MakerBot Industries.
Load both STL files to ReplicatorG software - one extruder with ABS or PLA - the second extruder with a Soluble Filament.
When printing is done, dip it in hot water and let the support structure dissolve, leaving you with a CLEAN, high quality 3D print.
3D printing the PRO way..
For the upcoming Acrylic Resin DLP 3D printers ( b9creator.com miicraft.com), i've added a rendered pic of a how it might look with a translucent resin 3D printing.
Oh BTW..... this is my 100th uploaded design to thingiverse.com ;)

Thanks for the dual-extrude files. Unfortunately ReplicatorG refuses to process them. I've tried reducing the triangle count using Meshlab, but to no avail. RepG gives no error messages, it just never produces a result.
Try a different slicer then what RepG uses- like the new Slicer http://slic3r.org/ then upload the generated Gcode to RepG
The idea behind the added support file is for use with soluble or PLA (dissolved with Soda caustic solution) for dual extruders
Hope to see someone make it happen..
