Summary

This is really stupid, but my wife and I put this fake poop around the house for each other to find, so I decided to make it my first scanned object.

Scanned with the MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner

Instructions

I must say, it looks fetching in sparkly blue.

Is that a corn nugget flying in the air of the blue model picture?

Looks more like a brown starfish.. (if you know what I mean)

Ugh. I didn't realize it was going to put that horrible picture up, and now I can't edit it. Dang.

Of course you can edit it - it is your THING!

What a step forward for mankind, now we can go where no man has gone before...
into making simulated dog poo!

This looks like most of the scanned objects anyway.

Also can I suggest more fiber in your diet?

If you're having trouble getting a good scan. Try... powdering... your... poop. Dark colored and shiny objects don't scan well. See here for more Digitizer tips: http://www.makerbot.com/blog/2013/11/08/digitizer-education-part-3-materials-for-3d-scanning/http://www.makerbot.com/blog/2...
