3D printable Arduino Mega 2560 prototyping plate with and optional cover; designed for print on most all 3D printer build platforms.

Now you can send that beautiful $55 board out on your next physically aggressive project with confidence. I also built in a sliding trap door for lower plate egress as well as top box openings that help extend your leads to sensors, motors etc all while protecting your board.

Grab the Mega 2560 plate and cover source files here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Arduino-Mega-2560-R3-Plate/

Oh, and if you run an Ethernet shield I have included a box top that can house both boards perfectly.

Oh, oh, and if you run an Uno check out my Uno Protection Box here: http://www.instructables.com/id/Arduino-Protection-Box/

Added Sketchup source file as requested.

Make On!

Very Thanks your share . You're so nice.

Uploaded Sketchup source file for your modding pleasures!

I don't quite understand the point of the access guards, could you elaborate?

It was mostly for designs that require pin passage to components under the plate. I used this method in a biped I designed a while ago ( http://www.instructables.com/id/MegaPed/http://www.instructables.com/i... ). The box tops/lids for these plates also have an egress.
