Summary

I decided to try to have some brass parts, to hide the patches where the wood is stuck through. Not sure if it works.

Instructions

Ideally you also want brass slit screws, and flange the holes, so they disappear

I used 1.2mm bras sheets.

Does the brass make the printer print any faster? :-) I've been considering lightning bolt decal for the same effect.

 no, but the arm board hopefully will make it faster...
Seriously, it has three effects:

  • it looks more clean and stable.
  • it maybe is a tiny bit more stable.
  • it helps against electric discharges, hopefully.
