Description

With Open Rail / MakerSlide V Linear Rails, I wanted to test them, so I tried to create a printable version !

Here it is !

I use 624ZZ Bearings for the V slide, and another 624ZZ as spacer.

Instructions

1. Print as many slides as you need for your needs, declined in 10cm (for MakerBots) and 15cm (for RepRaps)

2. Screw the rails on standard 20x20, 20x40, etc ... Aluminium frame.

3. Calculate your spacings for V-Bearings, and drill your support plate !

4. Make It Slide & Enjoy !

One of the harder things to find is the offset axis spacer, the thingy that is intended to tension the third wheel against the rails. Could you make that too?

Needs some design for the plate, but with some tweak and a good spring loader it may be possible !

Very cool PropsFactory! Nice job on these. Thank you for sharing.

any video of this in action? Looks great!

Soon, testing with a 30cm line, and maybe a tensioner.
