Hey! This thing is still a Work in Progress.
Files, instructions, and other stuff might change!
Printrbot adjustable heated bed
Description
I am having leveling problems with my heated bed, i am getting decent prints now but i could be better.
I have designed a new Y-bar end to make my bed adjustable, my idea is to drill a bigger hole in the plywood to be able to fit a spring trough it. New longer 3mm screws will be needed. I will be trying this when i find som useable springs.

Good idea, let us know how it goes (perhaps at printrbottalk.com).
Had you though of mounting one front-center along with the rear left
&
amp; right, this would give your a triangle which would be much easier to level.

I will post my results on printrbottalk.com when i have a working adjustable bed :) I have my final exams tomorrow, then i can focus my attention on this little project.
Nice idea with a triangular mount, but i am aiming for a result that won't alter the heated bed.

I would be interested in seeing the results too well done on the design, as there really is not much room to fit anything in down there under the bed. :D
Thank you, that end of the heated bed is the easiest part, it is going to be a struggle finding the space in the other end :)
