Description

I made this for my Star Wars Costume. There is an old RPG source book. "Galladinium's Fantastic Technology" That had a small picture of a dissuader. That is what I based this design on. I had to guess at the dimensions and I changed the grip to be more comfortable.
I did all of the work in blender.

Instructions

Originally I split this into 4 pieces but it would separate from the print bed and curl so I split it into 15 pieces. If you just want to print and glue then print everything except dissuader.stl and dissuader1bmag2.stl.

Dissuader.stl is for people who want to split it differently or make a derivative. I know there is a better way to split it, this is just the first way I thought of. Dissuader1bmag2.stl replaces dissuader1b with a part that has a hole which fits the following magnet kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D84PC-BLU I did this for a holster I am working on.

Print this at your own risk. You take full responsibility for this costume prop. Please make sure you follow your local laws on toy guns. If you paint this realistic colors and display in irresponsibly in public you should expect someone to shoot you. AKA don't be stupid.

You should try hollowing your pieces. It might take longer to print but it will save you a ton of plastic.

The one I printed above is actually only 10% infill so it doesn't use to much plastic. If someone can print hollow that would be even cooler, but I haven't tried that on my printer yet.
