Here's Mario rigged into something more interesting than a basic T-pose.

I went for the N64 "Here we go!" stance. I'm not 100% positive I used the same source model as Yamagata but it looks OK enough. I think the model needs to have eyeballs and the "M" logo on the hat added; I'll give that a shot a little later.

Exactly. T-Pose is a default model pose for humanoid models. It makes rigging up a skeleton easier, which is how you pose them. This is derived from a T-posed mario which looks a bit odd but makes for easy rigging, which means any pose can be made.

Ah, makes good sense, thank you. Wish I had more time to really jump into modeling. :'(
