Description
A customisable air assist nozzle designed to be retrofit to chinese laser engravers
Instructions
Tweak the parameters in OpenSCAD and print.
Tap the hole for the grub screw to suit an m3 screw.
Fit the printed piece over your laser head and screw in the grub screw.
Clamp the air hose onto the barb and you are ready to cut.
Note 1: The warp on the collar in the image in due to the fact that the fit was a little too tight, so I heated it a bit using a gas cooktop
Note 2: I got better results printing this pointy end down, rather than pointy end up. When printing pointy end up, the barb came out as a horrible mess.
