makerbot 32mm filament spool holder
Description
I ordered some filament online and the spool had a 32mm diameter hole in it! So I made this for mounting it on a makerbot replicator. It seems to work fine... also works great for larger size spools (all spools really)! The 8% angle keeps the spool tight against the machine without any annoying finger squeezing.
Personally, I think it's actually better than the ones that come with the replicator...

Instructions
If I were you, I'd print it with a raft and full support, and 100% fill!
I made it with Tinkercad, so you can modify it online at: tinkercad.com/things/5OaW4GuQXgp

Raft and supports and infill at 10% = weak part that will potentially break on the high stress point. Mine broke because I was a bit careless removing the ranft/supports.
Think this design of having the filled tube is not so great as the bottom bit needs to be solid and the tube does not need to be in-filled to be strong. Saving material on the tube means the bit that needs the material (the base) is weaker.

Worked fine for me with 10% in-fill and 6 shells - used raft and support. Thanks.
