Simple model rocket tail fins
Description
These are tail fins for model rockets.
Instructions
Print it out on a 3D-printer and glue it around the end of the body-tube of your model rocket.
In the OpenSCAD file, you can easily change all relevant parameters (number and size of fins, diameter of the tube, ...).
The .stl-file is for a rocket with a 20 mm body tube with 4 fins tapering from 50 mm down to 30 mm. The span is 80 mm.
CAUTION: I had some trouble when printig these thin fins. They seem to split easily. For me, it worked best with a brim at the bottom, cooling fan OFF and some cardboard boxes positioned around the printer to avoid any airdraft. YMMV.

Very cool. Thanks for posting. Quite rigid in PLA, and only 0.31 oz.
