Description

Based on classic Automata, this hand uses cams, axles, and basic mechanical principals to rhythmically "tap" its
fingers when the wheel is turned.
Easy to build, just follow my simple instructions by downloading AutomataHandInstruct.pdf
Have fun, and let's see who can make these fingers do something, like type or play a piano!

I used to have a similar toy that used springy plastic strips instead of fishing line. Chris Farley had one in the movie Tommy Boy while talking to his oscillating fan. :-P

That thing is freakin' scary! :D

Really cool, will def. print one when the mendel90 is idling

Simultaneously creepy and wonderful. Nice.

Nice job! Thank you for sharing :)
