Description
This is a 3D model of Pierson's Puppeteer, the "genetic cowards" of Larry Nivens' Known Space Universe.
I'm going to use it (and the tardigrade - thingiverse.com/thing:26450) in an astrobiology class I'm teaching to middle schoolers next week to see if they can pick out real weird little known animals vs fictional aliens.

Instructions
Found the model made by John Atkeson back around 2000 (http://chmeee.sloan3d.com/knownspc.html). The web page that held it is long defunct, but I cleaned up the mesh a bit and tried to thicken the hooves (which are still delicate). Print with full exterior support at 0.27 layer thickness with 1 shell and 50% fill density and it comes out very well.
