Hey! This thing is still a Work in Progress.

Celtic Cross
Description
I created this Celtic Cross in Lightwave 6 when I was first really pushing myself to create organic looking geometry in 3D. (1998)
I was pretty surprised the Replicator actually printed this in the first place. The Geometry intersects in a number of places and its folded. But the end result really impressed me. I'd recommend using supports. I didn't on mine and as you can see from the picture some of the knot work didn't print correctly or fell off after completion.

Lightwave? hmmmm
I have a old copy floating around i will see if I can use it to model some things.
It has a few nice modeling tools.
it's been like 12 years since i played with it, but i think I'll
brush the dust off it and give it a whirl.
Its always been my 1st choice in 3D. I've tried to use other packages, but after all these years I still prefer LW's interface and the separation of modeling and animation platforms. Now that I can print all of these things I've been making I'm filling my desk as well.
