Description

This is based on the excellent, original, Noise & Vibration Dampener. I redesigned this in Sketchup to achieve:

1] More dampening (unconfirmed).
2] More support.
3] Less likelihood that it will deform over time under the weight of the machine.

Having dual micro-feet will naturally force the foot-holder (top) part closed, applying pressure to the foot of the machine and thereby keeping the dampener itself from deforming.

Instructions

NOTE: Download links are not working. For now, you may download the STLs here: sdrv.ms/MuN6Gs

1] Print four or use the attached plate; print using 100% infill (solid) for best performance and strength.
2] Snap one onto each foot.
3] [Optional] Add a zip tie to ensure it stays put!
4] Enjoy quieter printing!

I just want you to realize few thinks. Dampening is created by flexing the material, thus deforming it a bit. (It is the material which should be able to return back to its original position, which wont happen in case of plastic, ever -> it will deform over time - 4 leg, 10 leg feet) If you make feet thicker it won't reduce the noise, but it will have definitely more support. For that we have already the printer feet. About forcing the top together. The top won't deform due to the fact that the pressure is....please learn to use Solidworks and few clases of physics won't hurt as well. No offense.

A little information about the print settings would be nice :) Is this meant to be solid?

I'll update the instructions but yes, print it solid.
