Peephole Cover by Srsguy Apr 29, 2010

Description

A tiny little piece that goes above a peephole and is held in place with a small nail. Prevents any weirdos from looking into your condo/hotel/office/whatever. When YOU need to use the peephole, just slide it out of the way and take a peek. Release it and it'll cover the peephole again. Thanks, gravity!

tl;dr you can't patent something strictly functional. The aesthetics, you can, but this device is completely aesthetically different to yours.

Don't be an ass about copyright.

And finally, it's "patent pending" which means nothing. And it's terribly obvious that you DO work for them...don't even try that. PS: you say I plagiarised their "function of mechanism" which is gravity. I didn't realize you could patent a fundamental law of physics.

Also, neither the pictures nor the site have dates on them.

This is a plagiaristic copy of their cover http://www.secureaview.com/hom... , which was made first. You copied their design, and function of mechanism. They have patent pending, I KNOW BECAUSE I did my DUE DILIGENCE when I was thinking about inventing something myself to solve this problem, and I found their product. As an inventor myself I find myself obligated to forward this infringement of their copyright to them. For shame, you should really check, and do your due diligence before violating others intellectual claims oh wait, it seems you did- you chose to copy their design,
&
amp;gt;:o I'm pretty sure you didn't bother to get their permission, as it appears you don't even site them with the credit! You're lucky you didn't steal one of MY ideas!

Thousands of companies make pens and there's no lawsuits there. I made the design from scratch. I'm not even making money off this so chill out. My design is pretty different from that one - just because hey serve the same purpose doesn't mean I'm infringing copyright.
