Summary

A 3D printed mobile to hang up in the room of your children.
To know how to build it watch our video : https://vimeo.com/88748691

Last december, our friend and Collegue Matthieu became the proud father of a baby named Joseph. As a present from the design team of le FabShop, we offered him this beautiful little bird mobile to celebrate the arrival of a new member in the family.

We printed the birds with a raft, 0.2mm, no infill. Same for the cloud.

how the hell you print the cloud with no infill

My guess is that it is designed as controlled failure. So even if hole doesn't print as pipe, the mess stays inside and you still have holes for the string. If I print this, I would fill that hole and poke holes to finished print myself with hot needle.

beautiful never made one but maybe i should......

everything printed great with 0% infill / raft / no supports, the flying birds tail came out a bit rough, I would print this one with supports

My prints failed a bunch of times, any tips? I think the raft for the birds needs to be wider?

are you printing with 0% infill? i just printed the 6 birds, it was wobbly towards the heads

katesy78 - in reply to

No ididnt use 0% infill should i?

mine printed fine at 0%, i wanted it to be light since its a mobile that moves around

Love this. Think I might have to do a pink version for my daughter.

This is really interesting and beautiful !
Congrats for the concept and final results, and for share them of course !
