Description
I made a small improvement to Airtripper's great Reel Roller ( thingiverse.com/thing:21435 ) to counterbore the screw heads and provide nut pockets, both to clean up the exterior and allow me to use M3x25mm screws, because the only screws I had longer than 25mm were 40mm, and they stick out comically.
Instructions
To make a pair of reel rollers you need to print two lefts and two rights.
Parts List
8 x 608 ZZ [8 x 22 x 7] Roller Skate Ball Bearings.
8 x M3 x 25mm Hex Head Screws.
8 x M3 Nuts.
This spool holder works great for the Prusa Air. I mounted it sideways directly over the filament guide slot in the top plate, offset to the right to allow my extruder wiring room to move.
