Cosmonaut figure as the Purple One - speak not his name
Instructions
I've uploaded four sexy files:
1 - Printsexy with Droste effect, with foot support
2 - Printsexy with Droste effect, without foot support
3 - Printsexy without Droste effect, with foot support
4 - Printsexy without Droste effect, without foot support
I have only tried printing #3. It prints okay, if a little sloppy, without external supports, at 60% of build volume on a Replicator (about 3.5 inches tall). Hollow, 3 walls (total), .2mm layer height, in ABS.
The figure's right elbow has a bit of an unsupported overhang, but I'd rather deal with that by holding a pencil under it for 60 seconds than have the thing take five times as long to print with external supports turned on.
I'm not sure how well the Droste effect versions will work - I imagine only one or two iterations will be recognizable before there's no resolution left. And I expect they would need full supports turned on.
And yes, of course, ideally this should be printed in a purple print medium.
