Something is off with the two holes on the top which create the pressure on the filament. Please check! Thanks

I have read this complaint on youtube: http://youtu.be/Ft2PxD-q7aUhttp://youtu.be/Ft2PxD-q7aU

Did you experience any trouble?

Thanks,

misan

edwyn - in reply to misan

Hi Misan, I've personally experienced this problem after 4 months of usage

misan - in reply to edwyn

Trinity Labs recommend us to make sure gears are well greased to prevent this (not sure this is enough(.

If I understand correctly 10mm/s should the max retraction speed and acceleration should be kept low too (not sure if 100mm/s^2 is too conservative or not).

edwyn - in reply to misan

10mm/sec should be good, 100mm/sec is maybe a little conservative. but be-aware if your using the stepper from trinity it has all brass and lifetime expectation personally is 4 months

I am using this extruder for my printer. Can anyone pls tell me what is the hole to hole distance for the bigger part in landing surface?
I would appreciate if someone can share the CAD file for this extruder.
Thanks,
