Description

THIS DESIGN HAS BEEN MOVED TO YOUMAGINE:
https://www.youmagine.com/designs/gopro-lens-cap

Reasons:
http://marcuswolschon.blogspot.de/2014/01/leaving-thingiverse.html

This is a lens cap to be used with the supplied underwater case of the GoPro.
It fits by fraction with a 4x1mm tapper, so it is easy to attach an aligns itself.

Walls should have been 5mm above the tapered part.

The one on the photo had an error and was "lens_diameter" not only in diameter but also in depth.

I like the look of the original one by tomlombardi .
Hi Marcus,

Love the Idea, But when I started to print this and got a time to print of over an hour I had a look at the dimensions. 8mm walls is a bit excessive, no?

Have modeled my own with 2.4mm walls. thingiverse.com/thing:27816

Still a little over engineered!?

Thanks for the inspiration. Will be very usefull. We have almost a dozen Go pros at work.
