My take on the popular Google Android Mascot robot giving him mobility via the Makerbot Windup Walkers. store.makerbot.com/windup-walkers.html

Instructions
Printed successfully in PLA on a Tantillus tantillus.org RepRap printer when sliced using Slic3r 0.8.2 with 150 micron layers and 15% fill.
Minimal cleanup was required, primarily just removing a few stringers from the internal cavity for the walker mechanism.
Requires one of the Makerbot Windup Walker mechanisms: store.makerbot.com/windup-walkers.html

Anybody knows about another source of these mechanisms? Makerbot is sold out.
When I was at Makerbot two weeks ago they said they have an order in for 10,000 pieces and were expecting delivery soon. Other than Makerbot, I haven't been able to locate a retail source, but there must be one out there.
