Description
This is a bump knob for a Craftsman trimmer/weed whacker, model #316.798221. The part number is 153066. This is the knob that goes under the spool. When you hit the knob on the ground, it allows the spool to let out more line. Why pay $10+ and S/H when you can print one!
Instructions
Print out both parts. I suggest 100% fill since you'll be banging this on the ground and the top part will wear down.
You'll need the bolt and washer from the existing/old knob. Put the bolt into the bottom part and make sure it can slide up and down easily (see picture). Make sure the bottom part can also slide up and down the tapped shaft on the trimmer head. Glue the top part on and screw into place on your trimmer using the old washer.
Now go make that lawn look tidy.
