New Vegas Securitron

New Vegas Securitron by The_Last_Raven Aug 3, 2012

Description

This is a character I extracted from the game Fallout: New Vegas. In a post apocalyptic world it's hard to tell who is a friend and who is a foe. Securitrons keep the peace on the New Vegas strip and "help" to guide you on your way... Or do they?

Print out your own Securitron and be ready for the apocalypse!

you cant actually print this
Hi matrhint, I can do that if you'd like. Currently I'm working on the powerarmor helmet, but the issue I was having with the protectron is that I'm new to NifSkope (modeling tool for Fallout) so I'd like to pose him a bit better before printing right now.
Nice model. Any plans for a protectron model?

Instructions

This is my first model so it will need cleaning up and further improvements will be made as I become more familiar with 3D modeling. On my wish list of improvements are to make a base for the unit, fix the wiring so that it prints with the unit (currently the come off too easily while removing support material) and reduce the amount of support material necessary. Also, the hands need some improvement as does the antenna. It's fairly fragile in those parts so I would be careful.

Constructive comments are welcome and deviations from the design are fully welcome! I borrowed it from Bethesda so it's only fair other people can change it too.
