Description

This is a very true to life F16 Model... Not nearly as bad-tastic as an F18; but still an awesome jet.

Each part is designed to be printable without support.

Instructions

1) Print the four parts
2) Glue them together
3) Go print an F18
4) Watch the F18 shoot down the F16 :)

I love your models. Unfortunately i have not yet been able to print one due to the wing edges being sharp. Its printable but no way to print it correctly. I even scaled one up 1.25 and it still cant print the wing edges.

could you make the wing ends and the tailfin end thicker? now they go down to infinitely small, which causes the print to string/break up(or skeinforge not understanding to run a full thread for the whole area)? tried to print and those were problem parts.

Sorry I haven't printed this yet... I'm still fighting with poor print quality (getting better every day though) and calibration. Now I have X, Y, and Z working well, E is giving me trouble. I just can't bear to print this beauty and have it come out all lumpy and garbage. The wingtip points do pose a slicing problem though, the wing gets too narrow near the tip and it prints in middle of nowhere (previewing the G-code from slic3r). I'll get it working though... this is still on my "must have" list. :D

Someone needs to make a warthog!!!!!

and an F-117, F-22, F15, F-14 (with foldable wings)

Agreed! Do it!

Think you got that "F-18 shoot down the F-16" thing backwards there, maybe just a little. ;)

Will have to print this next for sure. Safe to assume you didn't put _too_ terribly much detail into your arch-nemesis fighter (superior!), but damn if it isn't nice to see that void finally filled here. THANKS! :-D
