Description

A common blender clutch (coupling) part (B&D).
Uploaded in protest to things that cost enough that they should last a lot longer than they do!

Instructions

Designed in Sketchup (not Blender. heh heh heh).
Printed on an UP! 3D printer.
(with solid fill and fine finish)
Already scaled 1:1 in mm.
Print, install and enjoy that cool blended drink!

Update: Install on the jar side (as opposed to the motor side). Printing it in ABS with a solid fill, the part seems heavier, stronger, and much less brittle than the original. It held up to several jars of blended ice last night.

Can you post the sketchup file?

When I was a bartender, we called this part a blender clutch. I replaced them weekly. : )

This is the stuff I am trying to do starting with my water saving device. Screw the man we are many we are Legion with 3d printers and CNCs.

Did you make it in Blender? :-D
