Mold for making large (120mm) snowballs or scale to the desired size. It can also be used as a snow cone bowl.

Print with the handle down, support material required. I'd recommend using PET or PLA, at least for the larger sizes.

That looks really cool! I wish I could print it!

I'm trying to print without the supports now. Not pretty as it leaves a small hole in the middle, but I suspect it'll still work well.

If rotated to the side of the handle, could this be printed without supports? If so, can you please post a rotated stl? :)

I just posted a remix with the side of the handle down against the build plate: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:572012

Congratulations on being featured.
I do these scaled to 60% with 10% fill and .3 slice with support. Both halves at a once on a PMS in PLA.
A bit hard to remove the supports but with a stiff metal putty knife and some pliers there is a process that works every time.

If split the maker into 2 half and prints without the support!

does any one know if i should use supports for this print.

this is so going to be useful when i go to new york for january!

I scaled it down 65% to make a baseball sized snowball. This design is awesome.

man all the snow here just melted. but next year i know what I'll be bringing to the white elephant gift exchange
