I designed a spool holder based on thingiverse.com/thing:22292
This is a two piece design designed to fit in a small print bed.
Fits on standard Prusa Mendel.
Pieces are 10 mm thick. Designed to hold 5LB spools.
Print Dimensions:
Full Plate V1.1: 185 mm x 117 mm
Base: 135 x 75mm
Extension Arm: 147 mm x 100 mm
Cross beam: 185mm x 15mm
Version History:
V1.0 First print designed, Holds 6mm or 1/4" rod (Pictured and uploaded.)
V1.1 Modified spool bar holder to incorporate 8mm rod. (Uploaded)

Instructions
Print each plate twice.
Interlock the base and extension.
Optional to use spacers (~155mm long Internal space)
Optional, use glue or acetone to permanently join together.
Snap to the top of your Prusa Mendel.
Add a spool of your choosing.
Happy Printing.
