My printer was inadequately tuned, my patience was too short, I tooled around and gave up.

But now, I have amassed a pile of bits from my pile of dead gadgets and ... the Arduino semi-sonic screwdriver is taking shape! Since I had to (Open)SCAD it anyway, here are my TERRIBLE mess of files.

This is MAGNIFICIENT.

Enough is up to build all of the back half, no mechanism yet, I suddenly have to redesign it to have an alcohol sensor, I'm standing up for a fellow fan at his wedding, and I need a way to spot guests that are... tanked.

For those of us who'm have lived under a rock most of our lives.

what the fuck is it suppose to do? :-P

It's the Phlebotinum of Choice in the Doctor Who universe, possibly plated in Handwavium with a Timey-Wimey core.

Or if you prefer, it is often used as the plot device, magic wand-equivalent but with better sound effects.

As for what THIS one will do: I have built a few functions so far.
1) Arduino TV-B-Gone
2) Arduino RFID spoofer
3) Digtal compass\magnetometer\metal detector.

I intend to cram everything
I can into it.

Anything! Except it cannot kill. But it can be waved around to frighten less technically advanced species.

THIS IS AWESOME. I think it would be espeically great to have an OpenSCAD variable - "OverSizeMitts=MattSmith;" or "OverSizeMitts=Mike77;) :)

working on the ardweeny mount and base of the claw, hope to be done those today.

That's.... damn, that's going in the SCAD file.
