Derivative slightly adapted for reprapworld 1kg spool (don't know if from repraper or another asian manufacturer).
Which is 160mm diam. 90mm large (side to side, external)

Redrawn in Sketchup for 624 bearings and use few plastic (total volume 17,19 cm³) :)

added one for a small spool 205mm diam. 45mm side to side internally (or 53ext.) I got from mendel-parts

and another for 55mm int. side to side (salvaged from stratasys dimension cartridges)

Add :
4 624 bearings
M4x20 bolts
8* M4 Washers (probably fine without)

Curious question. Do you find that when the spool gets lighter any problems occur? I don't have a specific concern, just wondering. Spool being pulled off the rollers or line getting between the spool and base...etc? I am printing mine now and have ordered the bearings.

Yes, at the end of the roll the spool is so light that it is easily lifted by the extruder, but it only happen with the small 1kg kind of spools I have, the 2.3kg having a bigger radius the springiness of the filament is less problematic
