Ikea sells these strips of LED lights that are great to stick underneath shelves, etc, to light up work areas. I used to stick them up with double-sided tape, but they kept getting unstuck, so I made these brackets that hold a light strip on one side and clamp on to the lip of a shelf on the other.

To use them, possibly resize them to fit your shelf (here's a Tinkercad link: tinkercad.com/things/1uBt11ipkmr-ikea-led-light-bracket ), print a few (I used one per light section but you can probably get away with fewer), clip the lights in, and clip to your shelf.
