Clamps for LED strips on aluminum channel
by hollyhudson, published
These clamps will hold an LED strip against 3 sides of extruded aluminum channel for mounting on a wall. The one with an arch will hold a sconce in place, and the ones with the flanges will clamp down the edges of the sconce so they don't flare out.
Copy as many of the three components as you need for your length of aluminum and/or sconce material, and laser cut out of 6 mm acrylic. Clear acrylic with drafting film as the sconce material looks nice. The full project is described here: http://www.nycresistor.com/2012/09/16/sunrise-lamp-alarm-clock/#more-5581
