Description

Here is my double-convex flexible gear bracelet. It has curvature on the inside of the band such that it is more comfortable to wear. I couldn't find any other designs that had inside curvature like this on Thingiverse so I went ahead and designed my own, but I did get inspiration from Emmett's design thingiverse.com/thing:13505. I also used Joris' trick of modeling the bracelet as one solid for easy printing, thingiverse.com/thing:8488. I printed this out on my recently purchased Series 1 printer from Type A Machines (really enjoying this printer and its huge build volume). It is printed in PLA at 100 micron layer height with 0.35mm nozzle.

Instructions

I sliced it in KISSlicer with a skin thickness of 0mm, and 1 loop and a layer height of 0.1mm. I also found disabling the wipe feature really improved the quality of the print.

Note: The .STL files are sized small, so if you are printing for an adult sized wrist, you will probably want to scale by 20-25%.

Have you printed this?  The model in ReplicatorG looks solid, as in the middle part is filled in.....

you need to set infill to 0 and disable solid top and bottom layers. enable jorrising too if your slicer supports it.

Looks kinda like Emmett's Stretchlet - http://www.thingiverse.com/thi..., but different.

Hi sgrover, yes, I used inspiration from several other bracelets, most notably Emmett's design, and also Joris' trick of making it a solid for easier printing. I've updated my description with more details. Thanks.
