Description
I redesigned the snake to print with pins and sockets like the Micro Geared Heart.
Instructions
Print the parts and assemble.
I've uploaded a printing plate so you can print it in two colors then alternate the colors. Then just print one color of each end piece and assemble.
I finally got done printing my own copy and it came out pretty well. If you are having problems inserting the pins make sure to use a pair of pliers to get them into the first block. I've printed my pins with 1 shell and 5% infill that seems to make them a little easier to insert.
I printed my pins with 100% infill and 0 shells that tends to make them more solid and they fit tighter in the blocks.
I printed the blocks with 1 shell 15% infill.
If you are having trouble inserting the pins try using some pliers.

Can't wait to make one. I destroyed so many of these as a kid.

I don't wanna be one to criticize but boooo on putting a stock photo up.. That's how most of us can judge if something is real and printable. You got me excited prematurely.
That having been said, glad to see someone remembering the snake!

Awesome, I still have one of these around from when I was a kid. Dunno where that one got to, but I'll print out a new one!
I've printed quite a few of these. Just follow the suggestions I've posted for the pins and it shouldn't be very difficult to assemble.
