M2 Spool Holder
Description
I wasn't really happy with the built in spool holder on the M2, so I came up with this one. I think it works much better for the heavier spools. It is designed to hold the 5lb and 1kg spools from Ultimachine. It uses the existing hardware, and I kept the upper bearing holder from the original mount to keep the filament guide in place.
This was modeled Rhino.
Edit: Added a 1" diameter version (untested)

Instructions
Print, unbolt old, bolt on new. the original only uses three of the four bolts. When I put the new one on, I used the upper three since the bottom is in compression.
I used 3 perimeters and 25% infill with PLA and it feels like I could jump up and down on it. You can probably get away with a lot less.

I uploaded one called "smaller" that has a 1" diameter. See if that one works.

I have printed this thing and it works great with the Ultimaker spools that Makergear sells, thanks for sharing! I was wondering if you could possibly modify it to have a 1" outside diameter bar? because unfortunately all of my other spools have a smaller hole and do not fit the holder.. They are all 1.25" diameter, making 1" the perfect size for them, it should work with the larger spools too. I don't have Rhino or I would attempt to modify it myself.

The smaller one works great for all spool sizes I've tried except for the new "pro filament" spools from Matter Hackers they only have 20MM holes. But except for those its great!
