These fit right into the 3 notches on your MakerBot spools to act as a nice display unit for quick reference.

Hmm, I like the idea of color demos, but I'd imagine that you'd want varying thicknesses, preferably down to even one-layer thick. I suppose that'd be difficult to print in one piece with the current software, so maybe it would be a snap-together display? (like, a boat with snap-in sails that are cut from no-fill prints)
