PolyBend02 016 Wired
Description
Parametric micro-sculpture featured in the Oct 2012 Wired Magazine feature on Makerbot: wired.com/design/2012/09/how-makerbots-replicator2-will-launch-era-of-desktop-manufacturing/
Created using Processing and my own Modelbuilder library (https://github.com/mariuswatz/modelbuilder). The form was produced by revolving a generated profile to produce a surface of revolution and then using the unlekker.modelbuilder.filter.UTransformDeform deformation tool to "bend" the horn-like structure.

Instructions
Printed successfully on a Replicator 1 using both PLA and ABS. The form is hollowed out to reduce plastic use and hopefully avoid delamination, but the bottom section should nonetheless provide enough surface to stick to HBP.
